Robert was an outstanding and wonderful human being, and a great musician who cared for everyone in his life.
He fronted The Dead Show Dealers out of Astatula, Florida — guitar in hand, harmonica in his pocket, singing songs that borrowed from punk and rockabilly and country and blues and never sat still long enough to be called any one of them. He recorded under his own name too, as Robert Wilson Music.
The band he built is still playing. The songs are still here. That is the part he'd have wanted written down.
